True iconic chair design!
In the world of Mid Century design, especially chair design, Ray and Charles Eames were and are one of the most important representatives.
In addition to the well-known fiberglass chairs, the couple also worked with different types of wood in all shapes and sizes.
This birch wood DCW chair was designed by the couple and produced by Hermann Miller.
It is a DCW (Dining Chair Wood) chair from the 2nd generation that was produced between 1950 and 1953. This can be identified by the 5/2/4 pattern of the screws.
For its almost 70 years of age, the chair is in great condition with just the right amount of character.
It recently got a new back shock mount from one of the most famous vintage Eames dealers / restorers and can therefore be used appropriately.
We prefer to place these design icons as objects in the room anyway, they are almost a shame to just sit on them.
The chair will ship disassembled, but can be easily set up upon arrival.
