Unique9ct Gold round pendant which swivels to reveal a double sided stone. Though we come across many of these fob pendants, we selected this piece in particular for it's deep speckled bloodstoneand deep carnelian blood red (almost black) carnelian stone along with the uniquetalon like frame. There is a C & a P engraved to the top of one sideshowingthis was likely a sentimental piece, this is shown in the image of the hand holding the pendant.
This fob would have originally been the adornmentattached to a pocket watch chain in the Victorian era and may have even been used as a wax seal stamp. Pocket watches were kept in the fob pocket (a vest pocket in a gentleman's outfit) which were swung from a chain, attached to the vest pocket on the opposite side of the vest so they were secure when the gentleman pulled the watch out to check the time.
